Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we hear most from engineering managers and procurement teams.

Can you work with existing drawings?

Yes — we regularly work from existing DWG, DXF, STEP or PDF drawings, picking up projects at any stage.

Can you modify existing machines?

Yes — design modification and redesign of existing machines and components is a core part of our work.

Can you work from sketches or photos?

Yes — when formal drawings aren't available, we can work from reference photos, sketches or written descriptions to build accurate CAD models.

Can you sign NDAs?

Yes — we're glad to sign an NDA before reviewing confidential drawings, specifications, or project details.

What CAD software do you use?

Our team works primarily in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Inventor, and can deliver in STEP, IGES, DWG or DXF formats.

Can you support an ongoing project, not just a one-off task?

Yes — we support both single-project engagements and ongoing engineering capacity for CAPEX and multi-phase work.

Can you work with international companies?

Yes — we work remotely with companies across the US, UK, Europe, Australia and the Middle East, with communication structured around your working hours.

How do you handle revisions?

Revisions are handled as part of a defined process agreed at the start of each project, so scope and timeline stay clear.

How quickly can a project start?

Once scope is confirmed, most projects begin within a few business days.

How do you communicate with clients?

Primarily by email, with calls scheduled as needed for requirement reviews and design walkthroughs.

What information is required to start a project?

Any existing drawings, a description of the functional requirement, target dimensions or constraints, and your preferred CAD format.
